Wayne Smith – Principal Planner / Director

Wayne is the Principal Planning Consultant/ Director at Zenith Planning Consultants Limited and is a Full Member of the New Zealand Planning Institute. Wayne holds the qualifications of a Bachelor of Planning from Auckland University and a Bachelor of Social Sciences (Geography major) from the University of Waikato.

Since completing his qualification, Wayne has worked for over 25 years in the Planning and Resource Management field within both New Zealand and the United Kingdom. For almost 23 years he has held senior planning roles within New Zealand and the United Kingdom. Wayne has significant experience in the preparation and processing of Resource Consent applications and has many times prepared evidence for both the Environment Court and in numerous Council hearings.
